Second, all bar cases are now processed on a separate analog model. Screwing the bar down at processing ensures the best result. Third, we redesigned our CAD/CAM bars and are now placing titanium posts within the long axis of all denture teeth for added tooth support. Fourth, the standard teeth we use in implant-borne removable prosthetics have been changed to Heraeus Kulzer, Mondial and Mondial i Denture Teeth. Research has shown that these teeth have a stronger bond to acrylic. In fact, these teeth are used by ClearChoice Centers and at the Malo Clinic, originators of the All-on-4 process. Finally, we now provide a vacuum-formed night-guard to protect the appliance from nocturnal parafunction. We believe these five improvements have added to the long-term success of our restorations and reduced the maintenance for doctor and patient.

All.In.One Fixed-Fee Implant Restorations

We are pleased to report that state-of-the-art CAD technology and our tech-savvy team of CAD/CAM technicians enable us to reduce fees and turnaround time on our premium, patient-specific, iRis custom abutment and bar implant prosthetics. This technique allows you to simply capture a CBCT and send models to our facility. From this we create surgical guides, saving you time, lab fees and appointments. When the models arrive at ROE they are digititized, and rather than completing diagnostic wax-ups, we design virtual teeth using crown and bridge virtual software. Once the teeth are set in ideal positions, the implant position is planned and we host our on line meeting to finalize the case.

Be sure to follow our protocol for case selection. Contra-indications for the no-scan-technique are edentulous patients and metal based restorations in the areas of proposed implant sites.

New CT Order Form

The left bar has a link for our New CT Order Form. During the past 5 years we've worked with Galileos owners and Sirona support trying to understand the settings needed to scan an appliance needed to plan surgical guides. The scans are visible on the Galileos monitor in the office, however when it is imported into viewers and other softwares, the images are washed out. Sirona is now testing a device that seems to work. It is a led cylinder that surrounds the appliance, and renders a clear image. We are testing the images that have been produced and will post the results.

No Scan Appliance Technique - Promising Results

We've been hard at work with a few clients testing our no scan appliance technique to fabricating surgical guides. When the implants are incovered in a few months, place the surgical guide in the mouth, use a marker, place a dot on the implant site and uncover. When the implants are ready for the final impression, use this same guide to transfer the case to the laboratory - an excellent custom tray. Gone are the days when implants are placed too deep or too shallow, in poor proximity to adjacent implants or natural teeth, or in
embrasures. We are very excited to be one of only a few facilities in the country to offer a complete CT Planning Service. Our laboratory, unlike other planning services, has theunique advantage of providing support throughout the entire treatment process. We provide full diagnosticwork-up, computed tomography scan appliances, virtual planning with multiple software applications, live online consultation for optimal surgical guide fabrication, and provisional & final restorations. We work with all popular implant planning software such as NobelGuide, iDent, SimPlant, and easyGuide. Because we have the software and hardware in our laboratory to create rapid manufactured surgical templates, the one-stop-shop approach greatly increases theproficiency and timeliness of surgical planning. To facilitate this service we have developed a new department we’ve named Dental Implant Planning. If you would like to take advantage of this service on your next implant case, please contact us or ask your implant specialist to contact us. To discover more information about the service or the four planning softwares we are presently using visit www.dentalimplantplanning.com.

Welcome to the Dental Implant Planning Blog

Welcome new blog dedicated to virtual dental implant planning we will post message on new and exciting developments on the ability of dentists to virtually place implants in a variety of software using DICOM data from a CT scan.
