However, not all implant companies offer this necessary service in-house. ROE
has a solution to this shortcoming, scan bodies. Scan bodies are customized
digital impression posts that are primarily used in the laboratory. They are
screwed into implant analogs and scanned into our software. Our technicians
then customize and mill the abutments. This is now available for CamLog,
MegaGen, and Hiossen implant lines. If you have a digital impression machine
(all brands), titanium scan bodies can be purchased for intra oral use.
